Meet the maker.

Hi! I'm Shannon, the maker behind Grind & Shine Glass. It's a one-woman show around here: every item in my shop is handcrafted by me.

I had always been interested in stained glass, probably sparked by my grandfather who used to work in the medium. I’ve also always had this odd interest in visiting old churches just to look at the windows!

My stained glass journey officially began in 2020 when I found myself with the time to try something new. Luckily, I came across a beginner’s class offered by Neil Maciejewski Johnson. I was hooked right away and continued to dive into more classes and explored learning on my own through trial, error, and of course, YouTube.
